day 1: Shiraz- arrival

Today’s Highlights: Gardens and Poets’ Tomb Welcome to Shiraz! On arrival at airport we will be waiting to transfer you to hotel where you will meet and greet with your guide. After a short break, Shiraz city tour starts with Gardens which the city is famous for: Eram Garden (UNESCO World Heritage), Afifabad and Delgosha Garden. Then visits continue with the Greats’ Poets Tomb: Saadi & Hafez. At the end of the day you will see Qur’an Gate and ascend the hill where Khajooye Kermani Tomb is and enjoy city view from the top point. Return to hotel.

Note: arrival time is considered to be in the morning.

day 2: Shiraz

Today’s Highlights: Zandyeh Complex
Today, we set out for Nasir Almolk Mosque (also known as Pink Mosque) to admire the shedding lights through the colorful glass of windows. Then go to see Naranjestan Qavam Garden. Walking tour starts in Zandyeh Complex including Vakil Bazaar, Saray-e Moshir, Vakil Mosque, Vakil Bathhouse and Karim Khan Citadel. In the evening you will have dinner with a local family at their place to immerse in the host culture.

day 3: Shiraz to Yazd

Today’s Highlights: Achaemenid Empire’s Monuments
In the morning drive to Yazd City. Enroute stopover at Persepolis (UNESCO World Heritage), Naghsh-e Rostam, Achaemenid Kings’ Necropolis, and Pasargadae (UNESCO World Heritage). Arrive in Yazd in the evening and rest in the hotel.

day 4: Yazd

Today’s Highlights: Explore the city of wind catchers and Qanats Today, is dedicated to travel around the adobe city of Yazd which is declared as UNESCO World Heritage. Amirchakmaq Complex composed of Mosque, Caravanserai, Tekyeh, Bathhouse and Cistern. Then visit Water Museum where you can find out how desert people supply water from centuries ago by building underground waterways called “Qanat” and then visit Zoroastrian Fire Temple, there is a fire which has been burning for 1400 years. In the evening: Tower of Silence (Zoroastrian Grave) and Dolat Abad Garden (UNESCO World Heritage as a sample of Iranian garden). Return to hotel.

day 5: Yazd

Today’s Highlights: Bogh’e Seyed Roknoddin, walking tour in city alleys, Lari’s House
Today, we will stroll in the alleys and visit Bogh’e Seyed Roknoddin, a delicate architecture, and then Jame Mosque. Walking tour in old part of city and visit Lari’s House the house of nobles and Alexander Prison. Finally, Yazd traditional bazaar. You have free time to visit a famous confectionary known as Haj Khalifeh to buy or try traditional confections.

day 6: Yazd to Isfahan

Today’s Highlights: Naarin Castle, Carpet weaving workshops in Naeen, Jame Mosque In the morning drive to Isfahan the city of cyan domes. On the way stop in Meybod city to visit the ancient adobe military fortress of Naarin Castle. Continue the journey toward Naeen and find underground carpet weaving workshops and Jame Mosque. Arrive in Isfahan mid-afternoon and take a short break in hotel. In the evening visit Isfahan old bridges Sio-se Pol and Khajoo Bridge.

day 7: Isfahan

Today’s Highlights: Naghsh-e Jahan Square
Today will be dedicated to the UNESCO World Heritage of Naghsh-e Jahan Square composed of Abbasi Jame Mosque, also known as Imam/Shah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque and Bazaar. Free time to explore bazaar for shopping and buying souvenirs.

day 8: Isfahan

Today’s Highlights: Chehel Sotoun Palace, Vank Cathedral, Music Museum
Isfahan city tour continues with Chehel Setoun Palace the UNESCO World Heritage, Jame Mosque, one of the oldest religious structures in Iran. Isfahan Music Museum is the next point where you will admire live Persian music in addition to getting familiar with Iranian musical instruments. We will visit Vank Cathedral and walk around Armenian Quarter. Return to hotel
